This is Lois, she's four years old. Posting a piece of text about her and me doesn’t make sense. It is too complicated to put into words. The only thing that comes close to describing my relationship with her is that she is my life. And even that phrase has lost its meaning and seems like an understatement. I guess the easiest and only way to put it is just; I am her mother.
I did these portraits of her for a school assignment. Normally I hate shadows on someone's face. It reminds me of the phantom of the opera. My photography teacher however is a big fan. In an attempt to influence my grade a bit, I used the lightning of his taste. But by doing so I went out of my box and discovered shadows.
