weekend wishlist

It's probably not the best idea to be lusting over shiny new things when I already spent half the weekend shopping already, but still...
1. My friend Jennifer showed me this Shoegazing notecards set, knowing very well that I would love it considering my tendency to shoot my feet now and again (see top blog banner!).
2. I saw a girl on the tram listening to music with cute babushka earbuds like these. Since then I've been convinced that I also need cute earbuds in my life ears.
3. Is it a camera? Nope. It's a pencil sharpener. Genius.

giveaway ♥ collage postcards by vantiani

I've featured Vantiani's fantastic collages before, so I was very excited when she offered to do a giveaway for Much Love readers! Two winners will each receive a set of Vantiani collage postcards (pictured). I love how she plays with vibrant colours and shapes.

To enter, simply leave a comment with your email address (unless it's already in your blogger profile), and tell us what your favourite item from the shop is.

This giveaway is open to everyone worldwide, and will end next Thursday (21 April 2011). Good luck!

P.S. Check out Vantiani's blog too.

current love: vintage collars

1. The Vintage Lace Collar in Snow White, 2. 20s-30s Detachable Bib Collar, 3. Vintage Lace, Crochet, tatting, detachable White Collar, 4. Vintage 1940's La Dear Detachable Dress Collar, White with Navy Polka Dots, 5. Vintage 1968 Simplicity Pattern

I love the idea of detachable collars. Why did they ever stop making them anyway? If I could actually sew, I might actually attempt to make that mod dress with the 4 detachable collars (last image). How fun would that be? It would be like having 4, well actually 5, different dresses just by changing the collars around. That's the kind of versatility that I like. So since I'm hopeless with a sewing machine, I spent more time browsing the already-made vintage collars in Etsy instead. See the collar in the 3rd photo? That one is going to be mine! Can't wait to get it in the mail.
