I'm so happy to have my photos featured in Huff Magazine, which is an "online based collective magazine focusing on contemporary visual art", created by my dear friends Miy and Dito. Well done on a fantastic issue guys!!

Spoonful issue 5 is out now.

This cheeky Easter card by Anthea of Spoonful magazine made me giggle. Anyone living in Australia in the past couple of years and watches the news will know what the reference is.

Anthea also tells me that Spoonful issue 4 is now out. Yay!

I went to the library today to picked up a reserved book (Finny, which is the current book for the Slow Readers book club), and somehow I ended up with more books and a stack of DVDs too. I got 2 Days in Paris, The Cat's Meow, and Fame (1980). Then when I stopped by Borders, I couldn't resist getting the latest Lula magazine (it was the only one left and was reduced to $14.95... It's usually double that price!). Ah, so much to read and watch, getting anything else done is going to be tricky this week!

What about you? What books or mags have you been reading? Any good movies/DVDs you can recommend too?

I've mentioned Spoonful on the blog before (not to be confused with Spoon), and Anthea has informed me that issue 3 of this sweet zine is now out. As I was checking out their Etsy shop, I couldn't help noticing the gorgeous Leaf Post-Its... which look soooo much better than those boring old square yellow things. Love!

My brother, who has been living in Japan for the past several months, bought me this adorable Japanese magazine called Spoon. Now I can't read any Japanese at all, but who needs words when you have beautiful images like these?

If you like flipping through magazines that are beautiful + inspiring + free + online, you need to check out Unicorn/dream magazine. With the first issue just out, Unicorn/dream is an "online magazine about dreams, life, photography, hand made crafts and a bit of vintage and fashion" - which is pretty much a list of everything I love! I'm really excited to have contributed to this issue as well. I designed a few of their ad pages (e.g. those last 2 images). You can also find a little blurb and pic of me (where you can *gasp* actually see my face) somewhere in the mag if you look carefully!
